tcnelson 1 #2 September 28, 2005 all i can tell ya is that i love my rawa. aerostore in PA sells 'em. i love it because of the fit. sure, the camera is secure but, it's easy to make the camera secure. make sure you find something that fits correctly or you won't be happy. other than that, just be aware that you are adding another variable to the mix. getting a camera caught in your lines or whatever isn't fun for you or your camera! riggerrob 643 #3 September 28, 2005 That looks a lot like my Sony HC40. Despite owning two Bonehead helmets (original full-box and Havok) I would recommend Cookie Composites as they have the least chance of snagging a line. Most other helmets - from most other manufacturers - require silicone sealant or a mile of gaffers' tape to cover potential snag points.
alw 0 #4 September 28, 2005 Might want to take a look at 2kComposites also. Smooth, clean, well built and minimal snag points. It's light and fairly easy to set up once it arrives. Might also want to look at a lower profile wide angle lens. --------------------------------------------- Every day is a bonus - every night is an adventure. bob.dino 1 #5 September 29, 2005 Cookie's helmets are really nice. So are Fibre Zone's (another Aussie manufacturer).

Send them a mail and they will send you an order form. Maybe you can save some $$ this way.
javip82 0 #7 September 29, 2005 Thank you for all of your posts, but I am really thinking of going for a gath helmet with an L bracket and my camera. Do you think this is not safe for a first time camera flyer. the thing is that I only have like 200 bucks for a helmet and a box, which I know it does not exist. ____________________________________ You know what's out there.
