cj1150gs 0 #1 September 13, 2005 Hello, I am trying to upgrade my Zenitar 16mm to something with auto aperture. I know most people here got the Sigma, but being so close in price I wonder if the Canon won't be a better value... Has anyone tried both and can speak pros and cons? Optical quality... build quality... I know someone alerted about fog issues with the Canon but I know a guy who jumps one and he has no fogging problems, so maybe it's a problem specific to local conditions...?? shall555 0 #4 September 14, 2005 Something to keep in mind when considering Sigma is that they will simply refuse to repair their own products that are more than 4 years old or so. I bought a second-hand lens and sent it to them for repair. They wouldn't touch it. They said that they wouldn't repair an item that "old" -- 4 to 5 years old! Sheesh..
