sd-slider 0 #1 September 2, 2005 I know this is in 2 other threads, and, I have read them both. Any new news or suggestions as to the jump-worthines of this cam? Even if it is just for educational purposes for newbs who would like to "expand" yet be safe while doing it. Thoughts..... BTW - I am aware of the USPA recommendation for camera flying.Anvil Brother #69 Sidelined with a 5mm C5-C6 herniated disk... Back2Back slammers and 40yr old fat guys don't mix! hexadecimal 0 #3 September 2, 2005 Good luck on this one... I've been trying to get opinions from fellow skydivers, race car drivers, motorcyclists, and a few others - no response. All the reviews I've read seem to suggest that the video quality is somewhere between horrid and barely tolerable, though... so we're probably not missing out on much. vid666 0 #4 September 3, 2005 everything that i have read suggests that the camera is a POS. from the little that i know about electronics, media codecs and hardware - the device is simply not fit for the job they advertise it for. get a normal bulletcam - and strap it to a fullsize capture device - doesn't have to be a miniDV video cam - just something that will capture full TV frame. hexadecimal 0 #5 September 3, 2005 I've got a portable device that fits those specs on the way... just looking for something to tide me over. I use my current setup with a bullet cam hooked to a MiniDV camera in my car and on my motorcycle.
