anybody have experience with the New Quasar II's??

Hey all,
whats up with the new Quarar II's?? Our DZ uses older ones (pre 95) as the transition rigs, but i have never seen one owned by a jumper. Their price is competitive, they offer 2-week deliveries, and their customer service seems A++,
Is there something wrong with them. All advice is welcome!!!

Strong does a lot of military work and it was recommended to me on that basis.
One of the camera guys at my DZ has one. I'll try to remember to ask him about it.

i had a qusar 2 it was vey comfortable.and strong industries is a good company.the only problem i had was the covering flap for the main pin kept coming open.so when i bought a new rig i swooped with it.

Thats for the insight. That the only thing i've heard yet of the new quasars, you just don't see them much.

no you dont they arnt a popular rig people use today.but in my opinon they are a well built rig and strong int.is going to be around for a while.if you want more info on them you should talk to a rigger who knows about them they will have more insight for you.

I've jumped one and actually liked it quite a bit. Have a friend who is an AFFI/TI, etc etc and had two of them. We did some really crazy stuff in the air and I never saw covers come undone/flaps open or anything. He only parted with them due to a DZ staff deal on odysseys that was too hard to pass up.
