cmchristian 0 #1 August 10, 2005 Does anyone out there know of a free DVD encoder that I can download to convert an AVI file so it can be viewed on a DVD player. I have found a few but they alwasy leave a watermark logo which is annoying. Any that don't put a watermark would be great. FeFe 0 #2 August 11, 2005 almost every free encoder I've tried did suck big time it's not for free but Adobe Premier Pro has a build-in encoder which is quite good. Adobe Encore DVD is a powerfull DVD-authoring soft which converts avi to mpeg
billo 0 #3 August 11, 2005 I'll second FeFe's remarks...with AVI->MPEG encoders, you get what you pay for. The link below is for a sweet encoder for only $39. I know you're looking for a *free* encoder, but I don't know of one off the top of my head. http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tds.html
