pope 0 #2 August 4, 2005 pretty sure it's only been *possible* to buy one of these for about two weeks, but it looks interesting...I don't know if its "higher" quality will be noticeable unless you are watching your footy on an HDTV connected by firewire DIRCTLY to the camera though... EricTheRed 0 #3 August 4, 2005 It does include component vid cables though so you should be able to hook it up directly to a HDTV and get tru 1080i without the firewire. Still haev to hook up hte cam directly. You could also firewire footage to your MAC/PC and edit in HD and show the footage that way also. Have to wait a few more months for HD-DVD/Blueray to make something like this more than a rich man's toy.
