alw 0 #1 July 20, 2005 OK flyers, here's the question. I'm buying several PC1000's to do corporate "game films" of high tech maintenance on large power generation turbines. We have some state of the art neato camera stuff that is similar to what the doc looks up your _ _ _ with, but the pictures suck. When our guys crawl through these big machines they come back with a clipboard full of notes and some really fond memories. My thought is to put one of the PC1000's in the lowest profile camera helmet I can find - turn it on and let it run. Can't really tolerate alot of exposed stuff because of the FME (foreign material exclusion) rules so it needs to be a "clean" set-up. Definately no need for stills. Got any ideas on what would make a good helmet? --------------------------------------------- Every day is a bonus - every night is an adventure. BlueSBDeath 2 #2 July 20, 2005 I think the FF2 would do the job!! Not tall and not as wide as your sholders. My 2 cents. ArvelBSBD...........Its all about Respect, USPA#-7062, FB-2197, Outlaw
masher 1 #3 July 20, 2005 Definately sidemount. Most of the sidemounted ones would probably do. Depends on your budget. Cookie composite camera helmets are AU$710 plus postage....-- Arching is overrated - Marlies
Miami 0 #4 July 20, 2005 QuoteI think the FF2 would do the job!! I second that. Pictures of the FF2 are here. The camera box is built into the helmet so all hardware is internal...just smooth box on the exterior... Miami
mccordia 74 #5 July 20, 2005 FF2, but with a normal chin/neck strap, instead of the chin-cup (which is not that comfortable for a longer time)JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
quade 4 #6 July 20, 2005 This may be one of those rare instances in which I actually -recommend- a bullet camera.
