hipgnosis 0 #1 July 7, 2005 Working on exporting to a quicktime file to be put on the web. So far using the defaults for CableModem and LAN yield results that are much larger than a Windows Media or MPEG output, and much worst quality (blocky images, sound has that "recorded in the bathroom" quality) etc. So, what settings are you using to get a decent quicktime export from Premiere Elements? AndyMan 7 #2 July 8, 2005 Does it really have to be quicktime? The best results I've gotten is by using the Microsoft Media Encoder: www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
hipgnosis 0 #3 July 8, 2005 Need to support our Apple using friends. Exporting to Windows Media gives nice output. I just can't figure out how to make the quicktime one not look like complete and total crap. For example, this video is ~5 megs : http://tunnelfliers.com/TunnelMedia/TunnelVideos/PerrisTunnelLeague62505/tabid/72/Default.aspx Exporting the same thing to quicktime at one of the settings (DSL) gives me a 28 meg file with crappy audio, half the size (width and height) and blocky as hell. I just want to figure out where the checkbox for "Make resultant output not suck" is.... Bill
bob.dino 1 #4 July 8, 2005 Does Premiere support the Soreneson codec? That gives much nicer Quicktime support.
