SkyAnt 0 #1 April 28, 2003 Anyone here have a Boomerang or Havok full face helmet from Bonehead Composites? What is it like? How does it compare? Value? They look really cool and seemed to be what I'm after in my next helmet but are they any good? "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." CrazyIvan 0 #2 April 28, 2003 Bonehead products are very good, I don't have a full-face, but VERY good anyway.__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you.
darkwing 5 #3 April 28, 2003 I have had a Havok for over a year now. I had a Z1 before. I much prefer the Havok. I believe the Havok to be a fair price for the value, and given the prices of helmets in general. If I lost it I'd buy another just like it. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
taz9420 0 #4 April 28, 2003 I have the bonehead boomerang (full Face). Great all around helmet for both RW and freeflying.
rigging65 0 #5 April 28, 2003 I have a Havoc (that I no longer wear). It's a beautiful purple and grey helmet, but when I'd put the visor up during landing it really cuts down on your vision above the eye line...something I think is very dangerous. Also, if I took a hard step on landing the visor would close partially, again cutting down vision...again, a dangerous situation. my $.02... Dumpster 0 #7 April 29, 2003 If it's possible, see if you can beg several different styles and try 'em out. Make sure you know what you want as far as features go. i,e - my biggest concern was being able to open the face quickly and easily in case of fogging and to clear my ears. That rules out anything with a fixed face for me-- But you is you! (I'm a Z-1 guy myself-) Easy Does It
