Kuper 0 #1 June 19, 2005 thanx verybody here, i put my PC101E with X0.45 last week on my BoneHead Pimp Daddy helmet. I did some tandem shooting with it, and i think i'll move the camera in it's box a bit, or even buy another lens (X0.43). it's great though! here are some pics of the setup. tell me what you think. next week i'll get my Rebel XT. i'll wait a bit before mounting it too, but i'll let you know thanx again! StevePhelps 0 #2 June 19, 2005 On my first camera, I had a set up similar to yours (L bracket) All was fine untill one day a riser slap took off the wide angle lens and the ENTIRE lens to boot. I switched from a "L" bracket to a Dbox on the next camera. Now I love my Flat Top Narrow with D box ... all so secure.
Kuper 0 #3 June 19, 2005 rrrrrrrrrr Flat Tops are so expensive!!!! one day i'll have oneI (don't want to, but) can imagine a riser takes my wide lens off and shake my whole head and heart, but why you call this setup a "L" bracket? it's a box with a side door... is it still so 'not secure'?http://www.orikuper.printroom.com
StevePhelps 0 #4 June 19, 2005 I hope you didn't think I was peeing on your parade ... I said "similar" -- meaning, although I had an "L" bracket, and you have a box, the lens is exposed on both set-ups (yours and my old set up.) I'd suggest a Dbox that covers the wide angle lens. Have fun jumping your set up.
Kuper 0 #5 June 19, 2005 that's ok, i didn't think you peeing it... and now i understand your point. thanx!http://www.orikuper.printroom.com
Squeak 17 #6 June 20, 2005 that gaffer tape on thew back will stop nothing from being snagged in there, it may infact prevent a ince or riser coming out easily. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
Kuper 0 #7 June 20, 2005 yeh, i guess that's right. i thought about put there a material like clay, that make itself hard - in order to make all that back more smooth... i just didn't do it yethttp://www.orikuper.printroom.com
