FrEaK_aCcIdEnT 0 #1 June 10, 2005 ok... im recording from the dvd player using the s-video port on the player to the a/v input on the side of the camera. now the sound records perfect! the video is great quality(just like the tv) but my problem is that everything is recorded on the mini dv tape as black and white. I have looked through the manual and found nothing on this in trouble shooting. has anyone else done this? have u ever experienced this? My dvd player is a 1999 Apex that has a loopholes menu(they got recalled because of this) it allows me to turn off macro so i can record. I have recorded in the past to a vcr and never had a problem with it being black and white. so i assume its something i can fix via the camera. the reason im doing this is because when i do my first jump it will be on a dvd and i plan on transfering it to the camera and then to the computer so share with friends on the net. any help is greatly appreciated!!! FrEaK_aCcIdEnT 0 #2 June 10, 2005 nevermind guys, i got it to record the video in color. i cant use the s-video out i guess. had to use the video out on the dvd instead. but now i got to figure out why the sound is only mono channel ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD!
