camera problem, inverted video

Last week I used my hc-40 like normal for 7 tandem vidoes, now when I turned it on the image in the view finder was upside down (ok on the screen). Anyone else heard or seen something like that?

Only from people that have mounted their camera upside down or fly head down while doing tandems.

Seriously, I don't think it's possible and if you really do have this issue, you should contact Sony IMMEDIATELY just to see their reaction -- 'cause like I said, I don't think it's possible and I'm sure they'd be interested in this.

Actually, if you have lost the eyepiece to your viewfinder the image will be upside down.

Some viewfinders project the image upside down then use optics in the eyepiece to flip it. the same way your eye works.

WHen you rotate the screen it will flip sounds like you have done this and then it has not returned to the correct orientation

Now sure how that will help you fix it
