Bonehead cutaway system.....

Will this work on other manufacturers helmets?

It works on any helmet that uses the ratchet straps to hold it on. Look on her efor a post by me on a cutaway system. I put pictures on here of the system before Bonehead thought of it (or something like that) and it will save you about $20 over what they are charging.

i use it on my hawkeye and it fits... all i need it to do was make the hole a little bit bigger but that was it.

Glad you liked it. I moved on to a FTP so I'm not using that design anymore, but I tweeked it a tad by eventually running yellow cable to the pin and mounting a loop of the yellow cable to pull with. Found it a lot safer to pull since I would'nt need to flip open the cheab velcro loop the original design had.

I like Phreezone's cutaway so well, that I made one for my FFX. I did make one change that made me feel more secure. It is a quickpin instead of the cotter pin. I like the detent it provides. Pix is attached.
