Fuzzy 0 #1 April 8, 2005 Someone just mentioned to me that the Rebel-XT has a much smaller battery (NB-2LH), than the Rebel and 20D (BP-511/512). They said the battery life for the XT is much lower per number of pics in comparison to the the others. My 20D seems to go forever so not sure if it would even be an issue. Has anyone seen any noticable difference between the two? This person got the info from a sales rep so I'd rather here it from people like you, who are actually using it. Thanks Fuzzy Ambition / Ability: Know the difference.
chopchop 0 #2 April 8, 2005 The battery is smaller. I don't know how this will affect how long it holds a charge or it's life but it is definitely smaller.. and lighter.. The chargers and batteries (I have 5 batteries now) from the digital Rebel and the 20D don't work with it.. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. chopchop 0 #4 April 11, 2005 I jumped the XT 6 times this weekend on one charge. Plus a bunch of people were playing with it. Took about 300 shots.. It still read fully charged.. BTW.. love the camera. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures
Fuzzy 0 #5 April 11, 2005 QuoteTook about 300 shots.. It still read fully charged.. Sweet - That's why I like to hear it from people using it vs a salesperson. They said it would only be good for around 100 pic's. That just didn't sound right. Have fun with the pics Fuzzy Fuzzy Ambition / Ability: Know the difference.
