Jumperintheair 0 #1 March 8, 2005 I know this has been discussed before, but many of the models mentioned are now discontinued, so....whats the best DVD recorder? I'm looking for something to hook up to our editing board, price is no big deal. Thanks in advance
DavidKing 0 #2 March 9, 2005 Certainly not the best, I bought a Wally World special for 159.00 that has firewire,S video and composite inputs, works great with both mixing board and Mac. It burns DVD+R and so far no coasters or come backs. David
diverds 0 #3 March 9, 2005 Check out this combo unit from Go-Video. http://www.govideo.com/Index.asp?GV=VR4940 DVD and VHS recording in one unit. I've been very happy with mine and another camer flyer at our dz bought one last year and likes his as well. And FYI, -R format is compatible with more set top DVD players than +R. skinnyshrek 0 #4 March 9, 2005 One thing i would consider is buying one with at least 80 hours of a hard drive. You'll be suprised how many tandem students call the dz saying they lost their video. Keep it stored and re-sell ithttp://www.skydivethefarm.com do you realize that when you critisize people you dont know over the internet, you become part of a growing society of twats? ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?
