kansasskydiver 0 #1 January 27, 2005 I'm getting bored with the typical titles and have seen more than a handful of different animation titles and what not on videos. My fav has to be the text in the wind from Continuum 2. What programs are out there to do these? More important, what programs will they work with? I'm using Premiere Pro at the momment. What's out there?<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist!
pope 0 #2 January 27, 2005 QuoteMy fav has to be the text in the wind from Continuum 2. The animated titling in C2 was done in 3D Studio Max and Maya--neither of which are easy to learn or operate, IMHO. For more basic titles, if you work on a mac, Livetype has some cool stuff, but can be a really powerful titling enging with a little creativity and a good knowledge of the program. Windows users--I don't know what to tell you other than the 3DSMX/maya options, but they're out there. hope this helps, pope

Didn't know if there was an easier way to do it than After Effects.<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist!

BETO74 0 #8 January 28, 2005 Check LIVETYPE is a Mac software compatible with FC and in the lower end with Imovie, you can not only create cool titles, applied effects, lower thirds etc. and if you don't wanna spend that kind of money check SLICK transitions each CD is very affordable here is the link: http://www.geethree.com/products/index.html Laterhttp://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html
JayhawkJumper 0 #9 January 31, 2005 Check out www.invidious.net All of their titles were done with after affects. Another good option would be the borris package. Borris Graffiti is the title program but Borris Red 3GL is also a kick ass effects program.
Lee846 0 #10 February 12, 2005 LiveType is cool and not difficult. But i lost some info converting it to .avi for Premier (i'm still using 6.0 that is not supporting QuickTime format). I guess it's convertation problem, not LiveType's fault. Between two evils always pick theone never tried
