allrightscud 0 #1 January 27, 2005 I'm trying to edit pictures to use as DVD menu screens and DVD/CD jewel case covers. Is there an application in iLife which allows this? If not anyone recommend software which would allow me to do this. Thanks. Thomas Too much is never enough! All right scud?
stratostar 5 #2 January 27, 2005 Can't you import your stills from iphoto to idvd for the menu ? ~you can't pay for kids schoolin' with love of skydiving! ~ Airtwardo
rredman 0 #3 January 27, 2005 You can import photos directly from iPhoto into iDvd, but if you want to edit the picture first, you can use Photoshop or Photoshop elements (a trimmed down version of Photoshop).
allrightscud 0 #4 January 27, 2005 Yeh I was wanting to edit the picture first, Stick a logo on and some face's onto a background. I had to edit it on my PC then e mail it to myself. I just thought that that with all the other great software you get with the mac that it would be able to edit as well. It sounds like I need to buy somemore software. Thanks Too much is never enough! allrightscud 0 #6 January 27, 2005 I don't have photo shop, which is, I think, is the inital problem. I assumed that if I could do it in paintbrush on my PC then I should be able to do it on the standard apple mac programs Too much is never enough! All right scud? Superfletch 1 #9 January 28, 2005 However in the meantime there are plenty of freeware, shareware programs that will do what you want. But get your hands on a copy of Photoshop. Like Quade said... you will use it all the time. Gary "Superfletch" Fletcher D-26145; USPA Coach, IAD/I, AFF/I Videographer/Photographer
