Cannon D10 Digital Camera

Recommended Posts

I just got a new Cannon D10 digital camera for christmas. And I'm looking for some info on getting a remote switch for it. I did also get the timer remote which I'm wondering if it will work for skydiving. But really I was wondering about bite, blow, or tounge switches. Cannon makes a "special" plug for thier remote port and I'm just trying to figure out what is available to me. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks everyone, blue skys!

You need to get the RS-80N3 remote switch, you can get it at
ritz camera.com or Bh photo video.com.
I have mine on a blow switch, works fine.
You'll need to cut off the hand switch a wire the red and white( if I remember right) and leave out the brown, don't have my helmet here to look at it.
I also would think you would want to make a lot more jumps before you try putting that on your head with only 72 jumps,
somthing to think about!

Thanks I'll look into that...............yeah I've gotten acouuple of more jumps since I created this account. But I hear that. Got to learn how to skydive before you add new things into the mix right. I've done some video work for myself more than anything. But its been great and the guy at the DZ really help out where they can. Thanks again and Blue Skys.

After seeing what you do for a living, my guess is you don't take safety lightly.:P Thats a good thing, hope that helps you out. Becareful with the wires they are very small, I have mine hooked up to a R.C.A. plug to allow for a disconnect.
I sure you will love flying the 10d, if you need more wiring info send me a PM, good luck.
