I've searched the web and cannot find any kind of adapter that will allow me to connect to premirere using the USB connector. indyz 1 #2 December 10, 2004 As far as I know, no Sony MiniDV cameras support USB 2, and USB 1 just isn't fast enough.
PhreeZone 20 #3 December 10, 2004 Firewire is going to be the only way to get footage to Premiere. Sony cameras only run USB1 at 11 megs a second. DV records ats 25 megs a second. Firewire can go to 480 megs a second.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
peterk 0 #4 December 11, 2004 Totally, I was going to say that with my Sony MS cameras, USB 1 is even too slow to move over 1.2mp images... I can't imagine ~300mb/min DV video clips...--------------- Peter BASE - The Ultimate Victimless Crime
