PC 109 for $427

Recommended Posts

Hey all. I'm thinking about buying the PC109 and I did a little searching on Google. There is a place called USA Photo Nation that is selling it for $427. I was wondering if anyone has any word on how reputable this company is. I did a search and didn't find anything about them in this forum. Someone please remind me what the website is that rates all the different retailers. Thanks and blue skies!!

Thats a cheap price.....Im lucky to find one in pounds sterling for the same value...

I would be very very careful about ordering....for something thats so outta sight cheap......somethings gotta be amiss or everyone would be selling it so.

Just a point.....you are stateside right?....just be sure its a NTSC camera you are getting and not a PAL one......that may account for why its cheap....

Oh .....and if it does turn out to be a good company but a PAL version....let me know.....I'm from Europe and will snap it up at that price....;)

Yeah it's NTSC. I checked. There are a few other companies selling it for just about $500 so I think it is possible they are still on the up-and-up and they make some kind of profit on it. If I come across one that is PAL I'll be sure and let you know. You should all just convert to NTSC already! JK :P

Seems like a good start. But this begs the question, is the PC 109 a good jumping camera?

I'm in the process of shopping for a new camera, as my trusty PC1 has decided to give up the ghost. Let me know.

It seems to work well. Matty at Chicagoland jumps one for tandem work regularly.

If you're on a tight budget, the DCR-HC line might be a better choice - DCR-HC20 MSRP is $449. Street price is less...

Oh... Hi Scott!
