StevePhelps 0 #1 July 28, 2004 I did a search here and didn't find anything exactly like my problem. Premiere seems to play the video fast for no reason. Often by a transition, but at times just when a AVI file is played. Any ideas???
Cacophony 0 #2 July 29, 2004 Hmmmm. Not sure about that. It might be your chipset on your motherboard. Are you playing the clips on your monitor or through your camera onto a broadcast monitor? Are the transitions rendered or is it before you render? What version of premiere?

flypunk 0 #6 August 2, 2004 if you are not rendering it yet, it will do that to avoid using the memory, so it will skip, once you decide play it out, you are better off rendering it to whatever type file you want. Avoid displaying it full screen while rendering it, cuz that will take both a good computer and a good graphics card with lots of memory, or it will start skipping both on screen and even in the rendering. Once rendered you can view it on any other player that you have. ...
