sdctlc 0 #1 June 29, 2004 Here is another question for the camera vets out there... I am looking for a remote switch for a Canon camera. the one the camera notes is a RS-60E3 but the cable is short, like 2.5 feet or something like that. What should I do in getting a remote trigger with a longer cable. What is the remote trigger y'all are using and did you buy one and modify it? Do they have a Canon compatable one with a longer cable? Thanks Scott C."He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
dragon2 2 #2 June 29, 2004 The plug that's on the 60E3 remote is the 'standard' plug for most bite-/tongue-/blowswitches. Just buy one of those and you're set! If you just want a longer remote (for some reason other then skydiving, or for a hand-switch or something), you can probably get all the stuff you need from Radioshack (or eq.). If you want the camera to be able to autofocus, make sure to get a stereo plug. ciel bleu, Saskia
