EricTheRed 0 #1 May 10, 2004 How good are the still images from video? Obviously not as good as a dedicated still camera but the video specs say 2 megapixel resolution on the video. How does this really look though? Any samples of frame captures would be appreciated. Thanks, Ericillegible usually
ManBird 0 #2 May 10, 2004 Very, very pretty. My coworker owns one. I wish I would have saved a little extra and bought this camera. It's frickin fabulous in all regards."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
lewmonst 0 #3 May 10, 2004 I haven't taken any frame grabs yet, but I will next chance I get and see what the quality is... It has great video quality, I love the camera. peace lewhttp://www.exitshot.com
webracer 0 #4 May 11, 2004 What program are you thinking of grabbing stills with? I have a 330, and when you shoot stills during video, you only get 640x480, maybe 690k quality. When you shoot stills in memory mode, they are fantastic, at 3mp quality. It won't replace the still on your head...yet. It is a great camera though, and the video is fabulous.Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
EricTheRed 0 #5 May 11, 2004 I would like to be able to grab some stills off of the video. I know they are 640x480 but I was wondering about the quality. I just got my 330 last night and played with it a bit around the house. Here is a still (not skydiving) captured off of the video. I think it's pretty damn good for what it is. This was taken in fairly low lighting, indoors with 100w light (incandescent). Beats the heck out of my old POS. As said, the video is very nice!illegible usually
