Jethers203 0 #1 April 21, 2004 I know you can do it, but I have never seen one. If you have done it, post pics and tell me what you like and dislike. Thanks for the info. Clint D-24352
diablopilot 2 #2 April 21, 2004 Sure, can be done. Takes just a bit of getting used to flying. Jank, the current Gold Medal team in Intermediat freefly uses one. Top mount in my book is really the way to go....---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. ltdiver 3 #3 April 21, 2004 QuoteTop mount in my book is really the way to go.... I agree. I saw someone with an TRV22 side-mounted on an Optik this weekend. I wish I couldn't talked with him to find out WHY. It looked just -too- big and bulky way out there on the left side of his head. The Optik has a nice flat surface on the top. Why would someone want to side-mount a TRV model? The box is WAY wide (compared to the PC models). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Brains 2 #4 April 21, 2004 I put my TRV 19 on top of a bonehead Dabomb. Similar to an optik just older. It was in one of boneheads d-boxes. It was a little tall but not all that difficult to fly in any position including head down. Tracking with it tended to get kinda hairy but i don't track all that well to begin with. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
