katiebear21 0 #1 March 25, 2004 Ok, this might be a stupid question, but last weekend I took video but had the camera flipped so the picture came out vertically, instead of horizontally. I've uploaded it into Premiere. Is there any way to rotate all the frames 90 degrees to the left from either the camera or the program so I don't have to eat a taco in order to watch the video? diverds 0 #2 March 26, 2004 Use the Premier video effect "Transform". It should be in the "Distort" folder of your video effects. Drag it onto your clip, then in the Effect Controls Pallette, adjust the effects rotation to 90 degrees. Render, and you're done. Skydive Radio

I always thought it would be cool if you could do this "in camera"! Wouldn't it be nice to take a "PC" style camera and lay it on it's side and have the footage come out right-side-up?! katiebear21 0 #7 March 26, 2004 Ok, just checked my "final product" and it did work once I exported it and saved it in .mpg. It did not work when I exported it to tape. It went back to the original format. Doesn't matter, though because the person I'm sending the tape to can format it again. jmfreefly 0 #8 March 26, 2004 Yeah, a few of us at our dz have been contemplating ripping apart a PC100 and turning the CCD 90 degrees.. We have also been contemplating pulling the PC100 all apart, and building a helmet around the camera, with the lens and CCD right next to your eye, the tape drive in the back, and the battery on the other side. Perfect weight distribution, no real snag points.. It would be way cool.. although you would probably look like a Borg.. We figured though that we would need extra long ribbon cables, and they were going to have to be fabricated.. j
skyfly 0 #9 March 28, 2004 didnt work for exporting to tape ?!? and you rendered the entire project ? once you render the project, the ouput SHOULD be the same wether you output to TAPE, or to MPG... Just curious ...Be Simple, Be Creative, Bee! Sharon.
