ber 0 #1 March 8, 2004 I've bought a PC330, its in my opinion the best vertical camera on a market. I use it for regular outside movies but now i wanna put in air. I found one little problem, the WideAngle Lens sony provide for it are damm big, its something like 10cm diametre. I think its really big for putting on a side mount helmet. Without i think it have no enought angle for filming on a regular freefly jump, maybe enought for filming 4ways. I like to know your opinion about this, anyone jumping with it? whats the efect? do you use the 10cm wideAngle lens? on top or side? Thanks a lot everybodyBer --------------------------------- "Who Needs Oxygen Anyway?"

skyjuggler 0 #3 March 8, 2004 Could do a search, but as I am feeling help ful.... http://www.waycool.com.au/ http://www.royal-lens.com/ They do different thread sizes, wide angles etc... They do 37mm lenses to fit the PC 330 I believe. Oh, and most people think they are fine for quality, no Vignette ('black corners'). Just search the forum if you need more info. ber 0 #4 March 9, 2004 Lew... do you use that for skydive ?!?!?!? isn't that bigger than an helmet? ;) I think the solution is in www.waycool.com.au given by skyjuggler. Only 7,5mm long and 43mm diametre, a lot diferent from sony ones. I really have no info about lens like this, i will contact them to be sure about pc330 and i will bought one for sure. Thanks a lot.Ber --------------------------------- "Who Needs Oxygen Anyway?"
Deuce 1 #5 March 9, 2004 I have both the l5 and the .3 from Royal. The .3 is very wide. Like you can touch them wide. You can zoom it about halfway to about a .6 before it goes fuzzy. The multi element lenses are better if you want to use your zoom.
