Lower Control Line Replacement

Recommended Posts

Howdy,

I have a Vengence 150 wtih about 200 jumps on the original line set. I am having the lower control lines lengthend in order to provide better performance on the front risers. Currently in full flight, the tail is still being pulled down slightly, and when I hook it on the fronts, it gets ugly back there. My question is how long should they be extended. I know this will vary from jumper to jumper, but we (my rigger and I) figured we'd start with about 5 inches and go from there. Any insight on this? Thanks in advance.

Be aware, every inch you add is an inch less you'll have to flare with, unless you take a wrap...provided your breaks are set correctly to begin with.
