blair700 0 #1 March 31, 2003 Howdy, I have a Vengence 150 wtih about 200 jumps on the original line set. I am having the lower control lines lengthend in order to provide better performance on the front risers. Currently in full flight, the tail is still being pulled down slightly, and when I hook it on the fronts, it gets ugly back there. My question is how long should they be extended. I know this will vary from jumper to jumper, but we (my rigger and I) figured we'd start with about 5 inches and go from there. Any insight on this? Thanks in advance. eames 0 #2 March 31, 2003 In flight, pull your front risers down to as far as you want to be able to pull them, and look up at the tail to see how much it is deflected. Lengthen your lowers as much as your tail is deflected. Jason

Be aware, every inch you add is an inch less you'll have to flare with, unless you take a wrap...provided your breaks are set correctly to begin with.
