mr2mk1g 10 #2 February 20, 2004 Two lenses means two CCDs right?... two CCD's means it should be able to shoot both at once... great appeal to skydivers. Ugly little bastard though.
FeFe 0 #3 February 20, 2004 Quotegreat appeal to skydivers. Well, not exactly: "With the DuoCam SC-D6040 consumers can switch between a 4.13 megapixel DSC and a DV Camcorder at the push of a button" Samsung also used to have a VHS/DVD player player combo in one deck.. but this one is definately uglier... mr2mk1g 10 #4 February 20, 2004 thats gay. whats the point in that? I can do that as it is with my sony pc series. It doesnt need two lenses for that either. The PC330 churns out 3 megapixel pics - looks a lot nicer.
Deuce 1 #5 February 20, 2004 I'm hoping my PC120s last until solid state hits the scene. Then I want every frame of video to be at 6 megapixels so I can choose whatever I want. It's good to want. Wanting builds character.
prost 0 #6 February 20, 2004 JVC has had cameras that would record to the memory card at the same time they are shooting video for a long time. It might be interesting if someone would put out a camera like this that had high quality still capabilities and a remote shutter release. diverds 0 #7 February 20, 2004 I wonder how much of a demand there would be for this type of product outside of the skydiving world. Skydive Radio
diablopilot 2 #8 February 20, 2004 It's a Samsung. They don't even make good toasters.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
prost 0 #9 February 21, 2004 If it was good system (not this samsung but the JVC idea) I think it would sell well but I doubt you would ever see a remote shutter release as this is not a feature that the casual buyer is looking for.
