PREMIERE PRO - audio problems

Recommended Posts

Well, i just finished my new video, complete with sound, and must say that it looks kind of neet :P

But i have some serious problems when i export it (either as DV avi or any other form): the audio just doesn't sound right... when ever i have 2 audio tracks (music in the background and the sound of the wind in the foreground), i get this strange and annoying sounds, just like on the old vinyls (LP)... in addition to that, every time i use the "constant gain" audio transition, it sounds like crap... But it is ok when playing on the timeline...

i use some mp3, and some wma files... i have noticed, that only the mp3s and the wmas that have poor quality cause the problems... but anyway, i don't think that will solve my problem with the 2 audio tracks...

So please advise... i just don't know what to do...

Thats the issue right there Unue, if you use poor quality tunes then you are going to have poor quality output when you 'up the output' back to CD quality.

Personally, I only ever use MP3s at high rate and even then replace MP3 on the timeline with a better quality WAV for the final render.

Try ripping a CD to a high quality WAV and see if the problem persists.

ain't there no easy way out? :P

but seriously, how come that every time i use the "constant gain or power" audio dissolve, the outcome on final and exported piece just doesn't sound the same as on the timeline? could there be a tinny box that should be (un)crossed and i know nothing about that?
