Kris 0 #1 March 29, 2003 Here is a great, cheap source for the clear rubber pads to prevent your altimeter from getting scratched. Just put one on the center of the face and you're good to go. $2 for a 12-pack...not too shabby. Clear Rubber Cushion Feet Mine has lasted over 200 jumps so far and it shows no sign of coming off anytime soon. My FT-50 has yet to get a single scratch on the face. johnny1488 1 #2 March 29, 2003 I have an alti3 before the screw on face and I have a piece of clear packing tape on it. Same on my protrack. Works great. Johnny --"This ain't no book club, we're all gonna die!" Mike Rome

AndyMan 7 #4 March 30, 2003 The Altimaster folks are at all the bigger boogies giving out new wristbands and new glass... So I don't worry so much if mine gets scratched, I know it'll just get replaced at the next boogie!_Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
