Islandcool 0 #1 March 27, 2003 I was looking for a manual for a used Hornet I just bought. Someone by the name of Ian told me to email then and request one. (obviously..why didn't I think of that) Any way I did and within a few hours I got an email stating that my manual was on it's way. Wow that was quick! I haven't been in the sport long so I don't have much experience with many equipment companies but I'd like to say I was very thrilled with the response I got. I've relied on the advice of others about various companies and some of it has been confusing. Many different opinions sometimes. I know there was some disappointment when AR acquired PISA and some discussion that perhaps AR would not be responsive to the needs of customers that have discontinued products. Carolynn Sapp at AR did not give me that feeling at all. I feel confident that if I have a problem with my Hornet Aerodyne will take care of it. PhreeZone 20 #2 March 27, 2003 Ian would be Ian Bellis. Ian is on the BOD of Aerodyne and one of their test jumpers. Its great to see yet another manufactor reading and replying to these boards. I've personally bought gear off manufactors just since they post here.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

riggerrob 643 #5 March 27, 2003 Aerodyne's service has not changed since the corporate re-shuffle. Their service was good last year and it is good this week. Last spring I rush ordered a Triathlon line kit. I arrived quickly and when I needed an explanation of on the 4.0 upgrade, they promptly faxed me a diagram. A couple of weeks ago, they sent me a Heatwave line kit and when I got confused, a quick phone call to Cliff (at Aerodyne) cleared up the confusion. It seems that the problem was that one steering line had been cut at the cut mark, but not the rest, a minor inconvenience when you understand the big picture. Cliff patiently explained that PISA/Aerodyne measure steering line lengths while the canopy is installed on risers. Just another piece to the puzzle. Cliff also suggested a way to reverse steering lines that makes Heatwaves more responsive. On both occaissions, a quick phone call to Aerodyne cleared the my cinfusion. My pet peave is six different canopy manufacturers using six different measuring methods!
ChileRelleno 0 #6 March 28, 2003 I tell you what, I know exactly what your talking about... "A1 Customer Service" when I first got my Hornet I had questions and needed some answers,I got them in minutes from PISA. Along with a package full of "goodies" about 4 days later in the mailI'm so happy to hear that Aerodyne is apparently keeping up the good CS.
