Shivon 0 #1 November 17, 2003 Hi all, I am not in the US, but trying to order a DBox from the US which will fit a TRV22. I want to top mount it. Can someone please tell me (preferably with reference to the bonehead site) exactly which box I need to get? Quade, I think you have done this?

Shivon 0 #4 November 17, 2003 Ok. Sorry guys - maybe I am not making myself clear - I will try again. What I want to do, is put a TRV22 in a Dbox, and top mount it. Here's the complicated bit. I can see from the bonehead site that one of the 'TRV' style boxes is listed for use with a TRV22 - but it is a side mount. None of the Dbox's on the list say I can use the TRV22 as a top mount. As I want to top mount it, (and from looking at posts such as Quade's where he provides a picture of his TRV22 next to a 'PC' style box), I need to know which one of the PC boxes (ie, medium, large, IP micro or clam shell) is the Dbox which will do the job. Making any sense? Help?!
BigM 2 #5 November 17, 2003 I jump a top-mounted TRV-22. I use the d-box (shown on the bonehead link Lori posted) that is rounded. It is listed as the "large d-box for trv style cameras." It doesn't specifically list the 22 but it fits nicely. Blue 111- Jeff "When I die, I want to go like my grandmother, who died peacefully in her sleep. ltdiver 3 #6 November 17, 2003 And who says you can't drill holes in the bottom of the listed TRV22 dbox and mount it on top? I don't jump at TRV22 (yet) but correct me if I'm wrong those of you with this set-up. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
DaGimp 0 #7 November 17, 2003 i dont have that set up....i have a TRV-22 top mounted on my flat top without a box.....but you can get the bonehead box...used for sidemounting, and drill holes in the bottom to top mount it. Tape up the existing holes on the side and use the bolts to mounts it."Professor of Pimpology"~~~Bolas
flyer299 0 #8 November 18, 2003 Best thing to do is to email Bone head (look on the website for the email). I wanted a dBox for my TVR-19 (same camera you have). I just emailed and said, give me one of them dBoxes, gave them a credit card number and it arrived. Perfect fit! Only thing I don't know is how they will handle the over seas part of it. But I am sure they can work with you.
