indyz 1 #2 September 26, 2003 You live in the US, so you will almost certainly want NTSC format videos. PAL is used in Europe and some other places. The price is higher for PAL because it is the less popular format, so production is lower, which leads to higher unit prices.

Always get the NTSC version. Yves.

PhreeZone 20 #5 September 26, 2003 Look and post an Ad in the DZ.com classified for used video's. Some of those on the list like Pack like a Pro and Fly like a pro are just sitting on some experienced jumpers video rack never played anymore since they can now pack and fly a canopy. Most would sell them to you for cheap and its a win-win deal.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

trumpetfish 0 #7 September 26, 2003 just my 2 pennies worth but I was going to buy 'pack like a pro' as im just learning packing too, my dz shop advised not to bother as it's pretty difficult to follow it while your packing. stopping the video again and again etc. far better to just spend a couple of days with your rigger showing you the ropes i think. get tips from them you probably won't get from a video, you can buy him/her beer with the dollars you saved!?
