Camera question

Recommended Posts

Any of the Sony mini DV cameras that have firewire capability and steady shot.

I have a PC 120, it has been dependable. I jump a sidemount. There's a picture of it in my helmet on the "digital battleship thread" and a post I did about the Diamond .3. and .5 vs. the Kenko .42.

The mini DV TRV cameras are also great, and most folks with those jump them on top mounts.

Get a digital Rebel if you can't afford a used D60 or 10D

Just a word on this camera. I went by and played with one at Best Buy today after work...

Nice camera, yet I'm a bit concerned about the plastic body. The 10D has a titanium body which will hold up to the 'abuse' that we give it in the air, but plastic? Hmmmmm....

Is the 10D really worth the extra 500? Is it "that" much better then the Canon EOS Digital Rebel?

w0w your fast, you beat me to it. I was in the middle of editing my post;) I am going to go ahead and sell my G3 and buy the EOS digital rebel. Is there anywhere besides ebay they sell the 10D's used?

B&H has a used section, I think Calumet does too.
