RickyResQ 0 #1 March 21, 2003 I have found a rig that is the size I'm looking for. Does this sound like a good deal? Container: Javelin, DOM 2002. Has a total of 85 jumps on it. Stainless steel hardware, but no chest/hip rings. Ad says it is excellent condition Reserve: Tempo 250, 0 jumps. Main: Silhouette 230 with 85 jumps. AAD: Cypress, DOM 12/2001 They are asking $3950. What do you think? Any suggestions? ---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^--- All I need is a handfull of throttle, tit, and toggle. ---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---
skybytch 273 #2 March 21, 2003 $3200 would be more realistic, imho. I'd figure the main to be worth about a grand, reserve about $500, Cypres about $800 and the container around $900-$1000 (a new one with no options - stainless is included in the base price for a Javelin - is around $1150 right now). RickyResQ 0 #4 March 21, 2003 Awesome. Just the info I was looking for. I'm lost when it comes to judging the price of used equipment. Maybe Lisa would want to hook me up with something similar. ---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^--- All I need is a handfull of throttle, tit, and toggle. ---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---v^---

JYorkster 0 #8 March 21, 2003 Seems a little high. You can get a brand new set-up with a Mirage container and cypres for just a few hundred bucks more. Even less with a wings or doplhin container. Check out the "affordable rigs" at Rigs & Things. Rock
