Building a composite D-box?

Recommended Posts

I am starting to assemble pieces for a camera setup, but can not find a d-box for my camera ( Canon ZR45MC). Does anyone have any advice for building one? I planned on using a C-bracket for the main mount and a building a composite cover, maybe with hinges or something.

I have approx 200 jumps, and by the time I get the money for the rest of my camera gear I guess I'll have 250 or so. Any suggestions, or comments would be greatly apprieciated.

JJ,

Do a search in this forum.....there have been many discussions about building boxes for cameras.

Easiest way....get some fiberglass, some rubber gloves, a little closed cell foam, a knife, sandpaper, and get to work!

PM me if you want to know how I do mine.
