Rdutch 0 #1 July 30, 2003 I decided to jump in and buy a D10, where is the best place to buy one? I usually go through Bh photo, but they are a lot more expensive than I have seen elsewhere. Also I have decided to go with the Sigma Lens for now, where is the best place to but that one also? Im thinking I could get the canon 15 for $650 or get the sigma 14 for the same amount. So I am going to go for the sigma 14. Thanks for all the help. Edited to add This sounds too good to be truehttp://www.kngphoto.com/eos10d.html Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! diablopilot 2 #2 July 30, 2003 When I did a comparison, B&H was the comparable to the other vendors I'd used befor, and anyone else I had found with a lower price, I didn't trust, because of reviews, or history. Remember that Sigma 14 is a big heavy MoFo. I love mine, but...---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. freakydiver 0 #3 July 30, 2003 http://www.kngphoto.com/eos10d.html Is that lensless? Can I just use my still 35 lenses on it?? -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --
Deuce 1 #4 July 30, 2003 Well, it sure LOOKS too good to be true, especially when you look at the prices for their "packages". If everything is in the box, that is a great price. If you can, go handle both those lenses. That 14 is a big glass globe, and I don't think you can put a regular filter on it, JP? Hey, you are gonna dig it! pcalandra 0 #5 July 30, 2003 I'd do some research on them, that does sound too good to be true! By the way I was surprised how large the D10 was when I first saw it, considerably bigger than a standard 35mm body.

It's pretty dang big compared to a rebel.

teamhypoxia 0 #8 July 31, 2003 I just picked one up from here: http://www.inoax.com/viewitem.php?IndexID=4149&RefTag=nextag it arrived with all parts/accessories retail box, etc... the one you're looking at is probably a 'grey market' camera.. just the body, no manuals/straps/warranty... I also bought the Sigma 14 locally. Looks to result in a slightly wider view than the 28mm on my film camera. should be good, but you can't put an external filter on it
