skydivejersey 0 #1 June 24, 2003 Right I've got my Sony PC8. I have a fairly old pc (pent III) and nothing else. I am looking to make some DVD's. Figured I will need the following: A DVD Burner. Firewire comes into the equasion somewhere. Patience. I would like to be able to make a DVD from the camcorder with a nice pretty entrance screen that will play on the majority of normal (ie not PC) DVD machines. Any ideas on what equipment / software I should be looking at?? Thanks.
Deuce 1 #2 June 24, 2003 Check out Loudiamond's setup http://dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=533442;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread He burned me a nice short of the last Perris footage. Since you're starting from scratch, that may be the ticket.

skydivejersey 0 #4 June 25, 2003 Hi mac, Thanks for the pm. Some good starting points. looks like i'm going to have to upgrade the pc now to. Quick look round the software requirements shows that need around 70gb to store and edit all the clips. More money!!! I did however find some good beginners tips on http://www.aboutvideoediting.com which did clarify some stuff.
