nacmacfeegle 0 #2 April 2, 2003 I'd try the photography forum, mebbe get better answers there. Also post what type of filming you want to get into, maybe even a link for the helmet, so that the guys/gals can have a look for themselves. 2K composites are a UK company so some of the colonial cousins may not be familiar with it.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. skreamer 1 #3 April 2, 2003 Why the FFX? Why not the FF2? I have the FF2 and it is so easy to change batteries, dump footage via firewire etc. between jumps. Having to take the camera out of the helmet every time could become a bit of a drag with the FFX. You might just want the helmet for personal fun jumping now, but what about further down the line when you want to film 4-way and/or tandems? As for the camera I'm very happy with my PC9, so would probably prefer the PC8. Don't know if any of the extra features on the 120 are worth the extra money. But perhaps someone who jumps a PC120 can correct me here. Will
Zenister 0 #4 April 3, 2003 is 2kcomposites having web issues? i tried on a guys FF2 last time i was in eloy and really liked it, but havent been able to get to their site yet.. as to the PC120, the main reason i went with it is the nonskydiving use as a digital camera..the network functions etc..i cant really see needing..____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
