wlie 0 #1 October 17, 2002 I've pretty much have my heart set on the bite switch, but I want to get a concensus on your preference. Thanks. My other ride is the relative wind.
quade 4 #2 October 17, 2002 Right now I use the Conceptus bite switch, but I'm thinking of changing over to a hand switch. I -might- go with the CamEye RL, but I haven't quite made up my mind.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

wlie 0 #7 October 17, 2002 To post your favorite tease, I've posted another on Skydiving Talk Back. This is serious statistical analysis folks. Future photographers depend on this info. jdhill 0 #9 October 17, 2002 I use a bite switch as my primary. I use a hand swith to fire my second still, if it is mounted. I've been looking at a CamRL for a while, but have not gotten around to buying one... Anyone actually using one of these? MichaelBess 0 #11 October 17, 2002 I use a hand switch, the convenience factor of a bite or blow switch is nice (not having to route the chord through your jumpsuit every time you add stills), on the other hand every type of hand or blow switch goes through more abuse (saliva teeth etc.). For me the hand switch lasts longer and has proven more reliable. Besides when using two stills it's relatively easy to add another hand switch (two switches side by side). Just some thoughts, Michael
VideoToaster 0 #12 October 18, 2002 I would agree with the hand switch for two stills I can have mounted a 35mm SLR & Pentex 645 medium format still camera’s & a video camera with my helmet set up. I have both of the shutter releases together on my left hand. For the Pentex 645 I use my thumb for the 35mm I use my middle finger VideoToaster
wlie 0 #13 October 22, 2002 Thanks to everyone for their input. It's changed my mind to getting a tongue switch now. So a picture says a thousand words, and the wrong switch could have bitten. My other ride is the relative wind.
