B| LOOOOVE Mine. Good fit and I managed to get an audible in each side of the helmet. Flat side and top makes for easy mounting. Just out of interest, why do you want to change?

Well, switching from top to side in order to film 4-way doesn't make much sense to me...what's your reasoning? I shoot both Tandems and RW, and Top mount works for me. Not sure, but don't think I've seen any "serious" 4-way cameraflyers go with a sidemount. Again, I guess I'm not understanding your reasoning, unless it's just personal preference.

Its centered is the big deal. with a side mount the closer you fly you have to tilt your head more and more to keep things lined up in the middle. I've screwed up more then 1 tandem video by not remember to tun my head half way to a side to keep the person centeredat 2 feet out. Whats fine for freeflying is just workable for RW stuff. Top mount it from the start and be done with it.

I need one of the gurus to step in here.

My site is over my right eye. The lens of my PC120 is 6.5 inches to the left of that point. If my subject is in contact with my nose, I need to shift 6.5 inches to the right to have my subject centered.

If I had a top mount, my PC120 lens would be about 8 inches above and to the left of my right eye. If my subject was in contact with my nose I would need to shift about 8 inches down and about 2 to the right to have it centered. I don't see the big difference or advantage there. You have to look down instead of to the right is all it appears to me.

I do see a big advantage with both stills and video up on top. To fix parallax (?) issues there (top mount) you just tilt your head down a little and you solve both your problems. You have to compromise with a side-top configuration, by looking a little down and a little to the right, like in a pre-exit door shot.

My sidemount has been no issue in shooting 4-way and bigger RW.

That's the reason I bought the swivel mount from skydance photography. I don't regret that choice at all.

It's trivial to change the verticle alignment of the camera. The horizontal centering is another issue, however.
