askir 0 #1 June 12, 2002 Has anyone heard of anything similar to a quick release being used on video cameras?I have seen them on 35mm but that is it, is this feasable?I have seen the strobo frame and it seems like a nice unit.
quade 4 #2 June 12, 2002 It's something I've been thinking about.I want to be able to swap out my 35mm for a backup video and just snapping it in the stoboframe I already have setup for the 35mm seems like it might be a viable alternative. It won't be as rock steady as if I mounted it in a dBox, but it might be ok.quadehttp://futurecam.com
Deuce 1 #3 June 12, 2002 I have the Stroboframe for my still camera and it is very solid and has minimal snagadelics. My DZ is split between Velbon and Stroboframe, but I like the lower profile of the Strobo better.

airdrew20012001 0 #5 June 12, 2002 I have a velbon qra635 quick release for my still and was going to get one for my vid bt decided to go with the bonhead d-box instead. Holds it in securely and still makes it easy to pop off, as it were.Drewfus McDoofus
YahooLV 0 #6 June 14, 2002 Just get a bonehead D-box for the vids. It's worth the money. Have a Strobo for my 35mm. They're both quick, easy and look good in pics!
