What are your long term goals with your camera helmet?
Casual freefly, RW, school/tandem?
What do you want it to be able to do?
Are 35mm still going to be important in the foreseeable future?
How does it need to interface with the rest of the planet?
Will you be able to make dubs via Firewire, composite video orwill you need to pull the tape out of the recorder and drop it off with a tape editor?
If you think about how you'll ultimately use your camera helmet, it may help you decide it's overall design and what camera is most appropriate.

Well to start of as casual freefly and then eventually on to freefly tuition, to be able to teach with the use of camera also to edit mine and other peoples skydive with music or turn it into a funky freefly video, something idiot proof and hardy, i have a plan that by june next year my goal is too have completed 500 jumps and a high standard of freeflying, from then on i'll have to set myself another goal.
all suggestions are welcomed
