HeatherB 0 #4 February 24, 2003 How much do you need of each material? Are you looking for bulk quantities or just a yard of this, a yard of that...? blue skies, Heather
PhreeZone 20 #5 February 24, 2003 I'm looking for just pieces of stuff to play with for projects (like the 4 4 inch pieces of type 17 webbing I'm wanting to make a slider keeper with), does any one know where to get stuff like that cheaper then buying from Paragear? Will manufactors sell out their scrap/excess materials?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Dumpster 0 #6 February 24, 2003 Why not check with your rigger? I'm sure he/she can help out, and probably quite inexpensively, too. (and if it's a rigger you use all the time, maybe even free or a couple six-packs-) Easy Does It
PhreeZone 20 #7 February 24, 2003 My rigger does'nt have a real loft with stock We order in material and parts on an as needed basis. I'm training under him and for the projects I just need the materials but don't feel like paying top dollar to get certified materials that will probally just be tossed if the ideas don't work (freefly tube releases and stuff). DistantThunder 0 #8 February 24, 2003 Heather, At the moment, smaller quantities. Big on the shopping list is Tan Type 8, Type 13 and Type 17, in addition to Tan 1" Tubular nylon and Tan 1" edge binding tape. We do a lot of custom tactical nylon and we've had a lot of orders lately for stuff in tan/ 3 color day desert camo....OD looks so out of place over tan/3 color day desert. Thanks again DT
