rig insurance

Recommended Posts

There's always Harrison Beaumont but it's quite expensive (5 or 6 pounds per £100 insured). Your profile says you jump at Langar, next time you're there find Lee (massive gangly chap) and ask him about his (Natwest?) home insurance - apparantly they've been really good with skydiving related claims.

I renewed my insuarance with Lloydstsb to include rig cover (single item 3500). Harrison Beaumont will do all your skydiving equipment, helmet, rig etc. If you decide to get travel insuarance when you go abroad get your insuarance direct through AXA ,instead of HB. AXA are their underwriters and now do it as well.

We had our rigs insured under our regular property/flat insurance. It was with The AA (dont need to be a member of it). I do remember looking for the small print and didnt see anything that excluded it, but I may be proven wrong. Just make sure you declare it. And remember, you have 2 canopies at 1000 each, 1 rig at 1000, 1 cypress at 1000... tehy all have independant serial #sà
