flyhy 0 #1 February 11, 2003 Is there any web page or other service that provides the basics of rigging? Or any good book about the important things to know?

dkpbxman 0 #4 February 13, 2003 There are a ton of rigging related books out there and reading all of them, or as much as you can would make your actual progression into being a rigger easier. Of course, there is no teacher like experience and unfortunately that only comes with time. Poynter's manuals (Vol. I & II) are considered the riggers bible and are probably the most important and comprehensive.
riggerrob 643 #5 February 13, 2003 Plenty of packing manuals are now published on-line. Find them on manufacturers' web-sites by going to www.pia.com and search through the yellow pages. Also go to the Australian Parachute Federation's web-site and look under publications for the only complete list of service bulletins http://www.apf.asn.au/apf_services/sb.asp.
