mujie96 0 #1 February 9, 2003 Are the ones that Sunrise makes all the small ones (like the one I dropped in the ocean)? Also does anyone have a handle preference for freeflying, since I have to buy one tomorrow anyway? Thanks. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming.... rgoper 0 #2 February 9, 2003 if your still flying the wings container, i think they can help, but check your dz's gearstore first, save on shipping if they have one. AggieDave can probably steer you in the right direction on this one.--Richard-- "We Will Not Be Shaken By Thugs, And Terroist"
mujie96 0 #3 February 9, 2003 Alas, no gear store in Hawaii. And I leave Thursday, I'm going to pay out the rear end for shipping that fast. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
PhreeZone 20 #4 February 9, 2003 Just have it shipped to the DZ that you are going to. Provided they could do over night and get it to you on Tuesday that means your rigger would have to pack it on Wednesday so you can leave Thursday. Just have the parts sent to your new DZ but call ahead and notify them whats the deal. You might be able to get your rigger to do something like a trash pack to get it into the container for shipping. (don't jump a trash pack)Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Mine is a Mirage and it has the tube inside for an easier grasp. This fits within my comfot level since I've already had a cutaway (okay, two) before getting the handle, and as an Instructor I have hundreds of practice pulls from teaching students. Ultimately, the choice is yours. Check out a soft handle on your DZ if you get a chance. I like mine and wouldn't change it for anything. The positives outweigh the possible negatives for me. Also does anyone have a handle preference for freeflying, since I have to buy one tomorrow anyway? Handle Preference is: 1st choice The Non-d-ring. (I say this because Many soft handles really aren't soft, mines an aluminum pipe) You're current on your emergency procedures so I give a big thumbs up to Non-D ring. 2nd choice is the small handle you used to have. Phree ...lol, that was funny, (>) I like how you threw that in to avoid flamage ;) A nice flat side pack would be a nice thing to do for transport. The rigger who gets to pack it up next will be much happier if it's not all stuffed in a bag and wrinkly. Henry (or whoever answers the phone at sunrise) can help out very quickly, unless someone happens to have one in stock. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry...
