sdctlc 0 #2 May 15, 2006 Yeah it sure does look like fun. You could see the sync between them just smoking along and then it started to slip a couple of times and they got nipped for it with the 2 deductions. That dive was completely "Flow" and anything that gets even slightly off can result in a bust... I sure as shooting know about the flow issues but if you took that dive and put it into slow mode, NO WAIT "super slow" mode, then and only then are you approaching the flow problems we ran into on my team a few years back That was flat out fun to watch.. rehmwa 2 #3 May 15, 2006 I only saw the one hesitation on like the 8 HUNDREDTH page... I bet the busts were on the hill due to video angle. ... elightle 8 #4 May 15, 2006 Video angle at the top of the skydive was the problem I saw. Other than that, the "flow" was great! Blues! - Ed

AMax 0 #6 May 16, 2006 QuoteThats the first thing I was thinking... "What on earth is the video guy doing?!?" He was doing his job and he was probably trying to do his best. Stick a camera on your head and try to be perfect on EVERY round. Even top flyers make mistakes, cameraman included. What you saw on this video is not a unique mistake. I recall several teams (from intermediate to open) that lost gold medals because of NJ's on the hill.

druspork 0 #8 May 17, 2006 I value my video guy because he's NEVER that far away. There are 5 guys in a 4-w team (everyone needs to be able accept valid criticism) Our camera doesnt want my slot and I dont want his. Lets hope we both perform in our tasks. Haya are great blokes, it'll be great to see them shake up the international scene. Italy are not the only serious Euro contenders this year. Stumpy 284 #9 May 17, 2006 QuoteHaya are great blokes True - they were here for the world challenge in Bedford and my favourite memory was while everyone else was creeping and being serious, they were seeing who clould back up closest to the industrial heater we had in the creeper hangar before setting their arse on fire. davidlowpull 0 #10 May 20, 2006 He guys, I just read some of the posts here, and some of them were correct and other need some explaination. We did lose some points on the hill, but that was our mistake by not presenting well, and indeed the cameraman lost some hill points, due to not having a camerastep outside of the Grand Cessna Caravan. It's pratically unseen that Caravans have no steps outside, and for the Donut exit; our rearfloater needed a lot of space, so that our cameraman got surprised by the exit. When we landed we felt that our record jump was not as fluid as we wanted, a draw like this on a competition you can only get once in 3-4years, so we knew that this was a great opportunity for us to outscore our last Belgian Record of 34points. This 45 was scored in the first round of a very cold Belgian Trophy. We lost 2 points on the hill and due to some unsyncronized keys we slowed down at our fastest couple of pages. If we had the perfect jump the majik 50 points were in reach. But offcourse, if, if, if... Unfortunately our record jump has been rejected by the FAI as a new official WR. That means the Belgian Record of 45 is now higher than the 42 by the FAI. I hope that it's all a little bit clearer Thanks for your support and you can watch us at our race to the World Championship david@skydivehayabusa.com stronger and faster than ever... www.skydivehayabusa.com
