Scoby 0 #1 February 7, 2003 I saw on the PIA review thread that there is a new shape of Bonehead Mindwarp. I was about to order one and would like to see what it looks like. The Bonehead website does not seem to be updated, though. Can anyone who has seen one comment on it or point to a picture somewhere on the web? Is it a big improvement over the old one? Are there any changes other than the shape? And is it available now? Thanks!
CrazyIvan 0 #2 February 7, 2003 Dude, let me know if you see something, I'll do the same....very interesting.__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you.
rigging65 0 #3 February 7, 2003 There are some pretty serious shape changes to it...much more like the original that the last style was. It has a rather flat "forehead" section, but other than that, it certainly harkens back to the original. I bet if you send Jeane at Bonehead an email she'd send you a pic of it. The one I have of it is way too far back to see anything worth while. "...and once you had tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward. For there you have been, and there you long to return..."
Shark 0 #4 February 7, 2003 Although I wear a full-face Z1, I really liked the Mindwarp 2000. I have/had one, but JKA has yet to return it... I'd buy another, but will wait to see what the "new" one looks like.

SkymonkeyONE 4 #6 February 8, 2003 Two things: As I reported in the PIA thread, the new mindwarps (and other varieties) are de-penisfied and are now very good looking. Thanks BoneHead(Chris) for listening to the remarks from the field. Anyway, I, the total antithises of the "last" mindwarp, can now report that the newest iteration completely rocks. Chuck. skymedic 0 #7 February 8, 2003 Chuck, Did they change the shape of the "boomerang"...that one totaly looked like a penis...it's a great idea having a full face mindwarp...but without the cone head look.... marc
SkymonkeyONE 4 #8 February 8, 2003 I didn't pay too much attention to the Boomerang since I can't figure a reason why I would have one. I paid particular attention to the Mindwarp because the last one bugged me so bad. Another cool thing about the complete redesign is that it looks entirely possible to "pimp" the back. I really like the new design. Still, my two "pimp" helmets are the bomb. Chuck

keskeie 0 #13 February 13, 2003 Question: Were the "pimp daddy" boneheads only made with the first design/shape, or were there "penis-shaped" "pimp daddy" boneheads made also? I wonder, because I was looking into buying a bonehead from someone online and don't know how to tell which shape it is....We were never feeling bored because we were never being boring. -Zelda Fitzgerald

I wonder, because I was looking into buying a bonehead from someone online and don't know how to tell which shape it is.... There were no "penis-shaped" "pimp daddy" helmets made available. BUT, the models before the "pimp daddy" had internal audible pockets and were cool looking IIRC. I need a new helmet to replace my pimp daddy I made into a camera helmet and want to see the new Mindwarps!!!
keskeie 0 #15 February 13, 2003 Oh yeah....pimp daddy's don't have internal audible pockets, do they? I just can't hang with putting my $300 pro track on the outside of my helmet waiting to get thrown/pulled off some way.... What features does the "pimp daddy" helmet have, anyways? We were never feeling bored because we were never being boring. -Zelda Fitzgerald
Craig 0 #16 February 13, 2003 Well, my ProTrack has been just fine and I have put about 250 jumps on the helmet. The pocket is sturdy and still works like new. Never heard of anyone else losing their audible out of their pocket either. As for features, well it is a helmet, what more is there to say?
