kallend 2,125 #1 July 19, 2004 Rumor has it that it's going to Perris again. Does anyone have hard news?... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
hipgnosis 0 #2 July 19, 2004 http://www.uspa.org/news/index.htm In particular : Perris Valley Skydiving in California will hold the 2005 U.S. National Skydiving Championships around Labor Day next year. Florida Skydiving Center in Lake Wales will host this year’s collegiate nationals, as well as the 2005 collegiate nationals over the winter holidays. USPA will submit a bid to the IPC to host the 2006 world championships in style & accuracy and canopy formation. Hipgnosis

PhreeZone 20 #5 July 20, 2004 Also of note is that the team choosen to compete at the 2005 World champianships in Eloy will be choosen at the 2005 nationals. Different then the current set up I guess.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Different then the current set up I guess. I might be mistaken but the 2005 meet at Eloy is the World Cup (any recognized team can compete) and not the World Meet (winners from the 2005 nationals at Perris form the team). Correct me if I'm wrong. Tim T. Team Paraclete

jmpwme 0 #8 August 30, 2004 My understanding is that even for a World Cup, US teams must still be "sanctioned" by the USPA. Its my understanding that they will use the 2005 nationls as a basis for "sanctioning" US teams to compete. I could, however, be very wrong about that. usskydiver 0 #9 August 31, 2004 The word I received a couple of weeks ago is that the US Teams will be invited by USPA to represent at the World Cup 05. I don't know what will happen if a team declines. Tim T. Team Paraclete
